Terms of Cooperation
Once we have discussed the Products, Strategy, Target Industry, Application and the modality to proceed with our Principal, I meticulously scan the entire Indian market segment – Geographically and Industry-wise to identify potential Customers / Suppliers, introduce them to our Principals, call or visit them personally and build a rapport to help us secure business in a mutually beneficial manner.
Do you work on Commissions or Retainer ?
– I prefer to work as a Professional Liaison Agent on a nominal retainer fees.
Commission may or may not be included.
Do you work for Competing Principals, Brands or Products at the same time ?
– No, I do not represent or work for any other Principal who is competing in the same Industry. We follow non-compete clause to protect the interest of our Principals.
Do you buy & resell yourself ? Are you a Distributor or Dealer ?
– No, I do not trade, buy & sell or function as a Distributor / Dealer myself.
I function as a Manufacturer’s Representative and work as your Agent. My responsibility is to identify and assist you in conducting business with such Traders , Distributors who will be buying & selling your product in various regions across India.
Where are you located in India ?
– I am based in Bangalore, located in Southern State of Karnataka. Bangalore is the 3rd most important & largest City of India and is known to be the Knowledge City & Technology Capital of the Country.
However, I travel across India extensively and have visited every City & Town multiple times which relevant for Industrial & Manufacturing activity.
Which are the Industrial clusters of India ?
– In order of its importance, the Cities around which large Industrial clusters are located are as follows :
National Capital Region, ( New Delhi & including Noida, Ghaziabad, Faridabad, Gurgaon ), Mumbai, Thane, Pune, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Ludhiana, Coimbatore, Rajkot, Nagpur and many more Tier 2 cities.
Do you work as an Employee, Commission Agent or Manufacturers Representative ?
Usually, I am engaged as an external Consultant / Professional on retainer fee and not employed by the Principals as an Employee.

Do you travel to meet Principals in their home Country ?
Do you accompany your Principals when they visit India to meet Customers / Suppliers ?
To begin with, I take up assignments for a nominal retainer of US$ 500/month towards my Professional Fee including cost of doing business.
Rest of all business expense like office rent, travel tickets within India, outstation Hotel accommodation, local Taxis, Food & Beverages during outstation travel, cost of internet, telephone, stationary & postage, support staff is all borne by me.
There are no additional costs borne by the Principal except basic Fees.
If there is scope, Principals do compensate with small Commission on Sales although this is not a must.
Against this I provide an India office address, identify potential customers / suppliers,
visit them locally on your behalf, provide you market intelligence, give feedback on current market scenario, generate inquiries / quotations, establish a working relationship with prospective customers or suppliers and generally work on your behalf as your Liaison Agent / Business Consultant in India.I can also assist you in various other ways as listed in ‘Services’ page on this website like conduct Market Survey , Product Development, take care of any on-going business, locate a JV Partner / Off-shore Manufacturing Partner, establishing your wholly owned manufacturing facility or incorporating your Subsidiary Indian Company to conduct business in India.
